At the time Pipe & Cable Locators were beginning to be in huge demand, utility companies and contractors were hungry for the technology that would allow them to Plan and Repair their facilities with far less effort and time invested. Pipe and Cable Locators - can be better understood when broken down into specific groups and needs. For example water utilities typically need to locate a variety of different materials, such as metallic pipe (copper, steel, cast iron) AC Pipe or Polyurethanes. Since non-metallic (non-conductive) pipe cannot be located on it 's own "other methods" need to be discussed.
